When I flipped from departmentalized Math/Science at the elementary level to departmentalized ELA, my intentions were to improve my skills in reading and writing instruction that would be utilized when flipping back to Math/Science departmentalized, but instead I was called in the self-contained world of Kindergarten where I get the best of both worlds in Math, Science, and ELA.  I am richly blessed and feel right at home in Kinder.
