ENGAGE 2024 Professional Learning Conference

You won’t want to miss our keynote presenter, Anthony Muhammad as we kick off 2024 ENGAGE Summer Learning Conference! Anthony Muhammad, PhD, is a much sought-after educational speaker and presenter. A practitioner for nearly 20 years, he has served as a middle school teacher, assistant principal, and principal, and as a high school principal. Dr. Muhammad speaks on topics including building strong campus cultures, closing the achievement gap, and building strong professional learning communities.

Bullying. People keep using that word; it doesn't (always) mean what they think it means.
With a nod to The Princess Bride, we'll discuss what bullying is, what it isn't, and how schools respond to bullying conduct.

Understanding ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and their impact on students is the initial stride towards effectively supporting struggling learners within the K-12 education system. By delving into the workings of an ADHD/ODD child's mind, you'll gain insights into strategies for de-escalating classroom situations and fostering a conducive learning environment.

YMHFA teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents. This course would benefit any educator K-12. YMHFA is the premier mental health program. It is not a lecture course. It is interactive with activites and discussions. This class is 6 1/2 hours, including pre-work, but you can earn 11 CPEs for it!

2 hours of pre-work online to be completed by July 18th and 4.5 hours at ENGAGE in-person. Pre-work will be available by noon on May 30th.
