MTSS 101: Middle and High schools

New to NISD or MTSS: Academics? This session was created for you! The purpose of MTSS: Academicis to identify students who are struggling in school and ensure each child who is identified receives the right instruction or intervention to be successful. In this session, you will learn how to create a proactive process to identify students who need help, place them in the proper intervention, monitor their progress, revise interventions as needed, and determine when students no longer need additional support. (Secondary only)

We will take a look at some potential options for ease of use, both for teachers as well as students and parents. We will also demonstrate how we can use Canvas features to create activities and quizzes that will grade themselves, allow students to check their work, AND allow familiarity with some of the new item types students are seeing on the EOC.
