Implementing ULS with the iPad where unit teachers can collect student data/ how to engage students/data collection and grades.We will explore how ULS lessons can be correlated online to the powerpoint, to taking valid grades to have authentic grades. Modeling on how to take the powerpoint presentation to students.

We'll look at getting more out of Social Studies using Depth & Complexity, effective small group discussion, "reading" the maps, charts, & pictures, and student choice. We'll talk about steps to start it, determining groups, special population considerations, and other logistics (e.g. fast finishers, grades). Get ready to help your students go deeper in their thinking!
