Hands on Session! Teachers will complete interactive, hands on investigations during this PD session. We will work with 3D Molecular Designs models and other lab activities focused on the new biotechnology and cell biology TEKS.

Session 1 will focus on investigations concerning DNA, genetics, and biotechnology. Attendees will build models on the structure of DNA and chromosomes, genetic inheritance, and various biotechnology practices such as PCR and electrophoresis. We will examine the TEKS for secondary science and work through student investigations that best support educators, supporting student learning.
